When your aligners are ready, you’ll pick them up from our office and begin wearing them! Usually, you will wear them for 20-22 hours per day and switch to a new set every 2 weeks.
Every 4-6 weeks, you will come into our office for a check-up and to pick up your next several sets of aligners. You’ll repeat this process until your treatment is complete.
Most Invisalign patients need somewhere between 20-24 sets of aligners to correct their smile. This means the average treatment time is about a year. However, this depends on the specifics of your case. Every patient is different, so your treatment time may be shorter or longer.
